Peiwen (Lily) Cao recently completed her Master’s degree in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Western University in August 2020. Lily’s main research interests include psychosocial adjustment following life-changing events, identity development, and social determinants of health. Lily is particularly interested in the psychological aspects of physical disabilities and primarily utilizes qualitative methodologies in her research. From Fall 2016 to Fall 2017, she conducted her Honours Thesis project examining the narratives of impactful life events among adults with visual impairments, under the guidance of Dr. Soucie. Lily conducted her Master’s Thesis project exploring the experiences of parents of adolescents with visual impairments.
